Guest Designer - Lucyna

Hello everyone, today our wonderful Guest Designer is Lucyna from U Luli.

My name is Lucyna Marynowska, aka Lula. I come from the north of Poland. Almost Sixty, retired widow. A mom of two grown up boys and a happy Grandma. I started my crafting journey 9 years ago as a card maker and immediately became a addicted paper-lover. After my Husbands death it was crafting what helped me to conquer the pain. I enjoy creating anything from cards to altered art. I love to experiment with various mediums. I love challenges to spark my creativity and I make crafty friends all over the world makes me very happy. 

Today I'd like to share with you a notebook cover I made recently. I have used magazine resist technique for Gelli Plate, very popular currently. For me it's great fun and highly addictive! After pulling my print, I've decided to embellish it with some stamping, then added heat embossing and some metal elements.

Guest Designer - Cathy Frailey

Hello everyone, today we have a very special Guest Designer; Cathy Frailey  from It's Oddly Appealing.

 I'm a mixed media artist from West Virginia, USA. I love mixed media, art/junk journaling, & upcycling and use everything from cardboard boxes to utensils to cans & bottles - nothing gets wasted! My style is grungy, vintage, steampunk, odd - anything weird & different & experimental but I can incorporate any style. You can see a good cross-section of my style & projects on my blog! I'm a DT member (past and present) for various craft companies, such as Emerald Creek, Canvas Corp Brands, and A Vintage Girl. I'm also a contributor to Mixed Up Magazine and have my own challenge blog - Bleeding Art.

If you want to create a fun Christmas vignette but are tired of using the same old things like wood or cardboard boxes, try using a tuna fish tin!  I kept the lid attached so that it would fold down and I could create even more of a scene! You can get food tins in all kinds of sizes so you can go mini to tuck into a small place on a shelf or super big and make a village!

Guest Designer - Yvonne

Hello everyone, today our featured Guest Designer is Yvonne from 'Yvonne 3D card' who was the winner of challenge #2.

I live in the Netherlands in the old city Delft, I make for many years cards.

I love to make 3D scene cards because they come to live and that looks very great.

I am making design cards in two teams for my Besties for a couple of years now.

Also love to read history books and love to do Diamond painting as well.

So I am a busy woman but I love to do all these things, living next to my parents

so I can help them with things they are not so young anymore...
